We previously reported on the collaboration that Crystone started with Microsoft and their VPS solution, Hyper-V. With a VPS, or Virtual Private Server, you get your completely own login to a separate operating system that is located on one of our servers. You can now have exactly the settings you want on your server!
All property is completely separated from each other and they are even failsafed against hardware failure on the physical server. If for example a hard drive should fail then data is automatically moved over to a working one instead.
A VPS is therefore significantly more reliable than a single account on a web server and also it is extremely easy to expand the resources that are working memory and disk space if your needs would increase in future.
Therefore we are launching one site where we only focus on hosting services Dedicated Server, Colocation and of course VPS Am. We have put together a number of really competitive offers and more will come.
So click your way into the server.se today to look at our offers!
But it is not only our customers can take advantage of virtualization technologies, we have also begun to consolidate our own server to a virtualized environments. One example is that Euronet is one of the web hosting Crystone bought up over the years. The machinery consisted initially of all 27 physical servers that are now migrated to the same server where they are virtualized one by one. And in connection with our move to our new data center in Hammarby, we plan to virtualize more servers.
With reduced costs for electricity and cooling, we now throw our name into the hat and go pro-environment, but in the end it also means that we can give you, our customers, even better technological solutions and offers to come!
